Proclaiming Life

St. Edward Parish in Mackville bought two 4-by-8-feet pro-life vinyl banners (top) and mounted them (bottom) on the school's outside wall facing busy Hwy. 47. The banners serve as a great way for the parish to proclaim the faith to passers and to promote pro-life values.

The Monica Meyer grant in the Catholic Foundation helps parishes in the Diocese of Green Bay to plan and execute parish-based pro-life/anti-abortion activities and events.

Grants are for up to $1,000.00 per parish per project.

Recipient Tells How Parish Used Grant

"St. Nicholas Parish in Freedom was able to purchase fetal models, which offer excellent educational opportunities to respect life in the womb. They serve well for the parish at large, as well as for the young people in faith formation and school. We also purchased the images of Divine Mercy and Our Lady of Guadalupe, recognizing the wonderful gift of mercy that our Lord has for us."
