Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil, thousands are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new Catholics through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). We are pleased to welcome to the faith those who have not yet been baptized (catechumens) and those who have been validly baptized in another Christian tradition and are now seeking the Full Communion of the Catholic Church (candidates).

The following resources are intended to assist parishes with this process of preparation for the Sacraments. If you are interested in becoming Catholic or have questions about the faith, please visit our Becoming Catholic page or visit/contact your local Catholic parish church using our Find A Parish page
