GREEN BAY, Wis. (Jan. 29, 2024) – Beginning this weekend, Bishop David L. Ricken will invite the nearly 100,000 Catholic families across the Diocese of Green Bay to consider making a gift to the Bishop’s Appeal, which supports the ministries of the larger Church of Green Bay. The theme for 2024 is Living the Eucharist and Sharing the Gifts.

“Each and every day, Jesus shares His love with us and is eager for us to embrace Him. By Living the Eucharist and Sharing the Gifts, you deepen your relationship with Jesus and spread His love. You make such a difference in the lives of thousands of people across the Diocese of Green Bay. Please prayerfully consider your gift to the 2024 Bishop’s Appeal to further our essential diocesan ministries and support the mission of the Church in northeastern Wisconsin, ” shared Bishop Ricken.
“When you make a gift to the Bishop’s Appeal, you are joining so many others across our diocese in doing something beautiful for God and our communities,” said Tammy Danz, Bishop’s Appeal Director. “Your gift to the Appeal provides resources and training to teachers at Catholic schools and faith formation programs. Those in need of mental health counseling or financial health services are able to receive support from the caring counselors at Catholic Charities. Through these ministries, we are Living the Eucharist and Sharing the Gifts.
It is through the ministries of the Church that we walk with people on life’s journey and inspire others to discover, follow, worship, and share Jesus throughout the Diocese of Green Bay. Please prayerfully consider making a pledge to this year’s Bishop’s Appeal. In the next week, parishioners will receive a letter from Bishop Ricken, inviting them to make a gift, or they can make a gift through the Catholic Foundation online at www.catholicfoundationgb.org/give.
